In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, we have had to implement measures to protect our staff but also give us early warning of anyone who may have the virus and employing 140 staff meant that a single hand held thermometer was not going to work. Having worked with Paramount before, it was their advert on LinkedIn for the Hikvision thermal camera that showed me the opportunity to protect our staff over the coming phases of the relaxation of lockdown and beyond. The system was easy to set up and only needed a tripod and power over ethernet to connect and set up. It quickly measures temperature based upon facial recognition and more importantly, is capable of making more than one measurement at a time. You can set parameters such as maximum temperature and if this is exceeded, an audible alarm is emitted and appropriate measures can then be taken. This relatively low cost system has meant we have robust safeguards in place at the first point of contact within the business, keeping the staff as safe as we can. Thank you Paramount!
